After many hours spent trying to understand the Victorian Stage 4 Restrictions and what it means for us. It is with sadness, but understanding, that we must close down our grooming salon and retail for a 6 week period from Wednesday 5th August.
All appointments from tomorrow onwards are therefore cancelled.
Should you wish to reschedule appointments or request a booking for after September 16th, please fill out the contact form on our website.
Found here: https://www.hachi-melbourne.com.au/contact-us
We will not be taking grooming requests via Instagram, phone or emails that are not sent via the contact form, during this time.
If you have filled out a contact form you will be contacted via phone two weeks before the end of the lockdown period to schedule an appointment time.
These contact form submissions will work on a first in-best dressed basis, as we are a very large community and feel that this is the only fair way to be able to accommodate everyone.
We thank you for your patience, understanding and ongoing support during this time- we have felt it and appreciated it so much!
During Stage 4: We encourage our customers to practice responsible grooming maintenance at home. Including regular brushing of your dog’s coat to prevent matting. Areas of focus may be any friction areas (where harness or collar rubs against fur frequently), under legs or areas where your pet regularly scratches. We encourage you to research into the requirements of the specific breed as these may vary from dog to dog. Animals with long hair or wool coats will need brushing anywhere from twice a week to once a day. Please note: washing of thick coats, wool coats or already knotted coats, can encourage knots or matting to become more sever. We encourage you to pair brushing with any bathing of your dog.
Finally, we would like to extend our love and well-wishes to you and all your loved ones during this time. We will miss seeing each and every one of our furry friends, but look forward to welcoming you back to Hachi with open arms at the end of this 6 week period. What a year it has been so far, but through it all we are so lucky to have the love and loyalty of our four-legged companions.
